Hunger Games Movie

I don't know when the Hunger Games books came out, but I'm glad I didn't read them until recently.

The movie comes out in a month and that seems so far away!  I can't imagine how anxious I would be if I'd read the books a long time ago.  My sister-in-law Hillary was so excited about the trailer being released that she said it was the highlight of her Thanksgiving. 

I already got my tickets and I convinced Anthon to come with me.  I can't wait to see it!  I really hope that they stayed close to the book.  I also hope that they make all three books into a movie.  But I'm okay with them making the 3rd movie different from the book.  Somehow I just didn't feel closure with how that book went.

Hunger Games

I am not a reader.  Twilight was the first series that I'd read since I was a kid and I haven't read any novels since then.  Until now.  While I was at my sister Sarah's house in Alby, I had a lot of time on my hands.  She had the Hunger Games book.  I'd heard a lot of hype about it, so I decided that I would start reading it. 

I now feel like I'm in the group and am excited for the movie to come out in March.  Somehow, despite the fact that it's about children killing children, it's a good book. 

I need to get my hands on the other two books now.  I am also convincing my friends who haven't read it (Tionna and Karen) to read it so that we can all go to the movie together.
